https://beacons.page/shopflorique I combine real ferns, fine china, antique silverware, gemstones, glass beads, sea glass, pearls and mixed metals in designs that range from minimalist pieces to expressive statement jewelry for everyday wear and special occasions. I choose ferns for their shape and natural detail, and search antique shops for fine china and silverware with distinctive patterns and character. Depending on the design, I cut, saw, shape and bend the materials, create wire-wrapped settings, and build beaded elements for color, movement and texture. Through this process, carefully selected vintage materials are transformed into jewelry while retaining the details and character that first drew me to them. My appreciation for nature and vintage character was shaped by time spent gardening, the ferns surrounding my home, and occasional discoveries of antique aqua-glass apothecary bottles and vintage china. My creative and entrepreneurial interests began early, when I sold intricately patterned, hand-knotted friendship bracelets near the shops at the historic Brookdale Lodge. A background in hair design later sharpened my eye for beauty, color, balance and personal style. After a long corporate career, I returned to the creative path that had always felt natural to me and began building Florique. Inspired by florals, traditional English gardens, vintage details and gemstone symbolism, I give close attention to balance, texture and detail. Each order is carefully arranged in a Florique presentation box and includes a polishing cloth to help care for your jewelry. I hope the piece you choose brings you joy each time you wear it!
