When we had our shop around the corner from the Carwanna, Dominick Andidora was so supportive of my efforts. He ordered a bunch of screen printed tie dyes, twice, always hung my flyers, donated to our raffles for charitable causes, and him and Sarah always hooked me up with something special to eat. He also gave my daughter a job! This is on top of a lifetime of knowing Dom.
His sister and I went from kindergarten to highschool graduation together. I spent a lot of time with the entire family growing up because of my friendship with Jaime Andidora .
I remember being barely double digits in age and cutting fresh fries for fun at the diner, when times were so much more simple. I was fascinated by that gadget!
The entire Andidora family is kind, hospitable, loving, and you will never get away without at least tasting some kind of fabulous recipe.
In my troubled years, Dom was there to set me straight and still loved me through my terrible behavior. He never judged me. He always said he knew I would be ok!
Living in a small town like this, a lot of people don't understand that even if you don't see or speak to someone every day, the entire community can feel the loss of someone like Dom! You didn't have to be his best friend for him to be a special part of your journey in life somewhere, somehow.
My heart is absolutely crushed for his family, the CPD, the city and all the people he's ever encountered. Dom was the kind of guy you can meet once and remember forever.
Sending love and prayers to everyone during this unexpected, hard loss. 🫂🙏🏽💔🥺
