We owe so many of our supporters and donors a thank you for our spring needs being met, and all the donors and supporters who, during one of the hardest times in rescue that we have ever seen, said YES! As we go into the summer, we are SO thankful for everyone who helps support and love this super special senior and misfits sanctuary and rescue!
There is no way we can ever truly tell you the difference you make in words; we get to see it lived in the lives of these animals who get to go to the vet, get heartworm meds and vaccines, have their prescription foods ordered or meds delivered from their compounding pharmacy, or we pick them up from Costco. We watch them get adopted, plan for their forever homes, and so much more. Your funds do not just go into a big bucket and never seen again - when we see your name or business hit our inbox or an account, we truly SEE you - and we appreciate you SO much. Not for us, but for them. For every little moment that these fur kiddos are no longer on the streets, they are not in the rescue-only section of an overcrowded shelter, or they are not deemed euthanizable because of their scared behavior or medical needs.
Instead, they are safe - some forever with us and some waiting to find their forever - but they are SAFE because of YOU! We have so many people who pick up supplies, share our posts, make transport runs, and donate. This is just a thank you to all those people who take the time, effort, money, energy, and love to make that happen! We also could not do this without the amazing support of our vets at Harmony Animal Rescue Clinic! They take all of these funds and make it possible for rescues like us who have these HIGH-NEED kiddos and get them the care they need!
We truly thank you all as you got all of the fur babies through all their spring vetting, ready for the summer, got all the meds filled, and tummies filled. It takes a village, and while we have the best sanctuary director ever, Marcus Sledge, we could not do this without your support. He makes sure that everyone is fed, enriched, medicated, supported, and played with every single day. We cover every line item that is not community-supported with our own funds because we know they deserve this love. Our community comes together to make sure these kiddos have all their needs met and donate treats, food, blankets (and they GO THROUGH some blankets!), laundry detergent, probiotics, senior supplements, kitty litter, wet food, enrichment, and so much more! We truly make sure every single penny, and then some, goes into these animals' full care and support every single day.
