This beautiful ring went to its new home last week. Natural blue zircon is one of my favorite gems. The oldest material to have ever been carbon dated! It’s seems this sparkly blue stone has been bringing us joy for a LONG time!

A client called me looking for a special pearl ring to celebrate a milestone anniversary. It turns out they had calla lilies at their wedding and they had always been an anniversary gift also. A hand carved diamond pave’ purple pearl calla lily ring seemed to be the perfect thing! I love how it turned out and it was so much fun to carve!

Just a little something I finisjed recently. This was a fun and complicated build. The center 2.18ct fancy yellow diamond is set in yellow gold. On the sides there are also two D color (colorless) 1/2 carat diamonds. Then of course exactly 100 tiny diamonds! So all in all around 4.5 carats of diamonds spread over 103 stones all set in a one of a kind hand fabricated ring.

This is without a doubt one of my favorite pieces I’ve ever had the honor of making! The center stone is a magnificent natural orange sapphire. The side stones are blue sapphires. I hand fabricated the piece in platinum. I love it!!

Sharing a special ring I just finished for a clients who are celebrating life together. I’m super proud of it. The last picture is the bottom dome of the ring before I assembled it. I hand carved all the details into the platinum. (Because the details matter!) a Stonehaven perspective on old school techniques. I love it!

I wanted to share a piece I created recently. I decided to try a different way of designing the band as it approaches the top portion of the ring. I like the organic lightness of the curves and the small 18k yellow gold accents against the platinum. I think they speak to the fancy color diamond center stone. What’s the verdict? Do we like it ?
