We were blessed with quite a long visit from this beautiful bird. What a gift! He made no sound but allowed us to get closer. He ruffled feathers and tufted about on the ground and let us know with a long stare that he knew we were there. I’ll be reflecting on what message he brings but for now there is just awe and gratitude at this intimate meeting.
