ry of State Hillary Clinton. Founder and owner Varda Singer comes from a family entrenched in the jewelry business. She hails from Israel, where her father was a prominent diamond merchant. After serving as a lieutenant in the Israeli army, Varda came to America to attend Columbia University, where she attained a degree in psychology and education. She began her career as a jeweler importing and selling at the wholesale level. The connections she established with international suppliers helped her launch ICD in her hometown of Chappaqua. Varda travels the world in search of unique treasures, designs jewelry lines exclusive to ICD, and creates custom pieces for clients.
