White Feather's Daughters

White Feather's Daughters We are three proud daughters of our mother, the beautiful Waawaasgoneh-kwe, or Rita Gasco-Shepard. Rita had the first white feather dream.

She believed a life of beauty could come from anywhere and we strive to honor that vision in our life and art. White Feather’s Daughters is pleased to offer you traditional Native American artwork. Our offerings are as varied and distinctive as our personalities. Within our shop you’ll find anything from Anishinaabe beaded jewelry to hand crafted Native American hand drums; from baby moccasins to dream catchers. So grab a cup of coffee and take a few moments to browse our page. We hope you enjoy the variety offered as much as we enjoyed creating it. Anything posted here can be found for sale on our site at http://whitefeathersdaughters.com.

It’s been a busy summer. I have been working on some custom pieces that have really challenged my abilities. I’m not sure which if them I have showed you, so I will only post the last two. One is for someone’s much loved dog, Gladys; and the other was for another version of the sunset mackinaw bridge. The bridge will be worn in Washington DC by an attorney assisting with the Line 5 legal battles.

I’m now ready for some nice mind numbing beaded pins or sweet grass baskets.

Today I spent the afternoon in the sweet grass field with some of my favorite people, my sisters. Oh, how I love June.
