Some holiday housekeeping:
Non-US folks: I've turned off international shipping in both my Etsy and Amazon shops. Sorry - but given how FUBAR the US postal service is right now, I have zero confidence that an item will make it overseas in anything resembling a timely fashion - if at all. :(
US folks: Unfortunately, we haven't escaped the FUBAR-ness of our postal service either. Normally I announce a cutoff date by which you all need to order to receive your Shiny Thing by Christmas. I'm not doing that this year. Postal workers - in my neighborhood and likely in yours too - have been so decimated by covid that I don't feel comfortable promising things that mail carriers may not be able to deliver. Heh, no pun intended.
Please know that I ship same-day or next-day every time I receive an order, but unfortunately we sellers cannot control what happens when the package leaves our hands, sits in a city's hub for days, and possibly ends up with incorrect tracking information (in my neighborhood, I've learned, "delivered" means "you'll get it within the next 4 days. Probably. Maybe not, though"). We also don't have access to tracking info that's any different from what the customer sees, as much as we wish we did!
So - even if you order now, your Shiny Thing likely will be later than usual in arriving, and unfortunately I cannot guarantee Christmas delivery even if you order today.
In conclusion, thanks for your understanding, please be kind to your hardworking mail carrier, and enjoy this Christmas TARDIS, which I wish I had to get orders where they need to go this year!
