Custom work off the springtime bench, for sweet Deb on the East side!

This one was a head-scratcher from the get-go, but that 14k gold head sorta-fabricated sorta-casted was just what the doc ordered! Sometimes you have to know the rules to break ‘em (?!) 🙆‍♀️🪩!

BIG .82ct Lewis and Clark Sapphire from that I was hoarding in my stash, this perfect lil’ project was just what this AMAZING stone needed! Thank you Deb for your patience and trusting me to do this right, and to Debbie and Neal for the great snag down in Tucson last year…I love making heirlooms with sass!

Popped some pretty surprises in the shop today, just now! NEW Bohemian Beaded babes, a lil’ gold Tiny Spark necklace, some Made-To-Order Sunshine bracelets and Erry’Day Turquoise bangles! Check the shop for what’s new and in stock, ready to ship tab is up and runnin’!

I’m working hard to catch up and get some inventory for the online shelves, but thank you for keeping me busy in all directions! It’s a damn fine pleasure to string up some springtime goodies, create custom, and keep locals happy at . The beads have been calling, so here we are! For the current now of things. I’ve decided to offer some old favorites as made-to-order like the Erry’Day bangle everyone loves and wants! I have also reorganized the online shopping experience a little, so you can see what’s in stock and ready to ship, or search for made-to-order options if you want to order something specific to your size. Bracelets and bangles can sometimes be tricky to size, so be sure to check my highlights for sizing info😘 or reach out if you have questions.

Happy Mother’s Day week to this badass who helped unclod every dirt clod, fixed my lopsided flower bed with fancy new peony, and pushed to finish projects when I was ready to throw in the towel! Love ya Mama! ❤️🥰

Thanks for your patience and patronage last week while I threw things online in color and chaos before Mothers Day Weekend. All orders placed recently will hit the Post Office today. I’m back to the bench and have plenty to do, in metal and in the dirt, including some BIG projects ahead that commemorate this dirt season. Onward!

Bummmbaaadabummmm!!!!! Beadsssssss as promised! I ran out of beading wire, patience, and time, BUT. I popped a few beady babes perfect for gift giving in the shop just now. Happy Mother’s Day Weekend! I’m off to wash my dog and my house cuz my mama comin’ to town! How is it possible Rudy found the absolute nastiest things to roll in, todayyyyy.

All ready to ship orders placed this weekend will go out Wednesday 5/13 unless you are a local cat! My apologies for the late mini-drop to my online shoppers, it’s been a pretty chaotic day, week, month. Holler if you are a local shopper and I can get you all set up for a local pickup, no problem. So much love to you all, especially the women who rule the roost!

I made some May Mama color for so getttttem’ while they’re HAWT: Beads and leaves and stars and sparks, oh my! In the case downtown WF if you’re in the neighborhood.

I’m also deep in bead land and hope to have some online color to add to the shop before Sunday, too. If there’s any month that looks and feels like the bead drawer in the studio, it’s this one. Tulips poppin’ and hummingbirds coming back for more. May I love you.

Headed to today for all your mamas, and your mamas mamas. Restock incoming!

It’s a fine pleasure to restock the downtown Whitefish location for the weekend ahead, celebrating the Mothers in our lives. I have been head-down going forward into a full season of growing things and building newness, and will be stocking my local jewelry case with a few favorites and a few OOAk throughout the next few months! My mama gets here Saturday so I better getttt after it!

A custom piece, SO full circle!

Once upon a time. There was a store in Whitefish run by my dear friends .skin.tattoo on Railway who had loyal and generous patrons, who would give me my first dollars, and first taste, of what it would mean to be an artist for a living. I am forever grateful to you, Liv and Cass, and every person that came in to see it. You built my beginning. What an amazing foundation.

In this shop, while still taking classes at the local community college, Cass built me my first display and Liv counseled my new endeavors. I sold a little set of Peridot pieces, necklace and earrings, to dear friends of the store. That was likely 15 years ago. The woman that wore this set would be a quick poster child and testament to the quality of jewelry I hoped to make, as she literally never took these pieces off!

Recently, like all favorite silver chains eventually do, it broke. I honestly can’t believe it lasted that long! The necklace ended up in pieces on the dash of her car, and after a good rattle up the north fork, slid into the recesses of the vents, never to be seen again. There was an attempt to rescue, and many tears, so I’m told.

It was a retirement gift to replace the lost piece, by her husband and one of my favorite Montana Sapphire storytellers. He brought me this original Rock Creek Sapphire, the last one of four special stones for the women in his world. I recreated the original peridot with this mega chonk of a Sapphire stone, and photographed it set on top one of Cass’s sculptures that I inherited when he passed a few spring seasons ago.

This kind of roundabout journey is just exactly why I love making jewelry. It is this kind of magic that keeps my heart in it, and the kind of crazy connections over lifetimes that really illuminate how lucky we are to have eachother. It is, without a doubt, THE reason.

Thank you so So much Lee and Amy, CJ for delivery, who all won’t see this post anyway, and indelible thanks to Ethos so many years ago, who gave me a shot and saw something in me that I hadn’t even begun to see yet.

We are deep into newness here in blue-sky Montana today and it feels really good, maybe even apropos, to plant Calendula Officinalis whose latin means ‘first day of the month’…on…May Day!! And. This flower is also nicknamed ‘poets marigold’. Could this season be any sweeter!

I had intended to drop many OOAK springy things before May. But the dirt calls and when the ground thaws here, you kinda just have to drop everything and GO. We are in a huge garden reno, with (breath held!) maybe a greenhouse build. When the sun shines for a few days in a row, the inside quickly becomes quiet and the silver sits. I hope you are finding your rhythm too.

Custom work keeps me busy and I will share some of these projects as soon as the surprises allow. ❤️🦄🌱

Well that was a FREAKING BLAST!! A HUGE Thank you to , their wonderful volunteers & sponsors, and of course all you excellent moon-children attending the first ever ‘Moon Phases’ class this weekend! We had a great time, lotttts of laughs, and only a few band-aids! I am so thankful for this community of robust art enthusiasts and the support of so many friendly faces! Stay tuned for more updates and great programs coming soon from TMP!

Extra special thanks to right-hand help Claire for making sure no one drilled a hole in their fingers, bought pizza and emotional-support beer afterwards, and generally made a good time great. Also, big thanks to all the volunteers and support in set-up, break down, and general good cheer. What a great group both nights! I was nervous to teach, but shouldn’t have been, because this was the best group to fumble my way with. SO Much love to you all!
