Aye yo... we've been quiet, but WE'VE BEEN WERKIN!!! Please help me in welcoming the newest member to the Sankofa Arts family, our BRAND AMBASSADOR, THEE Jade Symone, aka IG:JiggyJadeee. Jade has been killing the game showcasing Sankofa Arts on Instagram and Tik Tok, and is single handedly responsible for over 150,000 folks flooding the Sankofa Arts website within a matter of hours! (🤦🏿‍♀️chiiiiiiiile, that's a story for another day, lol). We're so excited to have Jade join the family, and can't wait for you to see her in action. When an artist is moved by an artist, that movement creates a movement of its own. When baby sis tells me she loves me, she does it with a poem. When she wants me to know I am loved, she often relates it back to the work I do. When I want her to know I love her, I wrap myself in her words and give them legs, and together we continue to move each other, forward.
