Grade Verification for Youth Basketball ✏️🍎

We've gotten some questions about what kinds of documents we will accept to prove grade level. We will accept *any* documentation from the schools, such as progress reports, report cards, proof of enrollment forms, or school related apps. We will work with homeschooled students on an individual basis to find a suitable equivalent.

Registration for Cordova Park and Rec Basketball will run October 5 - 23 at City Hall. City Hall is located at 154 Main St. and is open Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

We will have teams for boys and girls grades K - 6. All players must verify grade level with a report card or letter of enrollment from their school. Homeschooled students should contact Park and Rec directly.

Cost of registration is $85, due at the time of registration, which includes the uniform. Uniform sample sizing will be available at City Hall. All players must try on samples before uniforms are ordered.

Tomorrow is the last day to sign up for Volleyball! We're still accepting players for all age groups, but are looking for third and fourth graders in particular.

Lots of people have been asking about the days and times for volleyball as well. At this time we don't have a set schedule, but the league has tentatively scheduled game days for Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.

Volleyball registration will begin Monday, July 13 at City Hall and continue until Friday, July 24. Girls in grades 1-6 are invited to register. Applications can be picked up at the front window of City Hall.

Cost will be $75/player due at the time of registration. ($40 for Registration, $35 for jerseys)

Uniform jerseys will be included, but each player is responsible for supplying their own black athletic bottoms and knee pads.

We are also accepting coaching applications from now until registration closes! If you are interested in being a head coach, you will need to complete an application.

Basketball camp is coming up this week! If interested please reach to Coach Walls! This is a great opportunity for our youth players to gain some valuable skills and knowledge!

Blue Devil Academy. June 5-6.
Registration for Blue Devil Academy is now open. This year's camp will be for boys and girls in grades K-6th. All schools are welcomed, you do not have to attend a Cordova Feeder School to attend the camp.
Participants will get fundamental training, skill development and an experience of learning and fun.
In addition, participants that register by June 3rd will receive a t-shirt. T-shirt orders will be sent in on June 3rd to make sure they are delivered on day of camp.
Water and snacks will be provided both days.
Coach Walls (Boys Head Coach) will run the camp with the assistance of basketball players. We will take up registration fees on June 1st and June 2nd from 12:00-5:00 pm and again on the first day of camp.

Grades: K-6th
Time: 8:00-11:30 am
Registration Fee: $70.00
