They say a picture is worth a thousand words... and I think this one says it all! 😳🌬️🌧️

Yes, somewhere in this picture is my tent! And no, this photo is not from last year. This was taken yesterday, Saturday, September 5th, 2026, in Mocksville, NC.

One minute it was sunny, bright, and beautiful... and then BOOM! Out of nowhere came the wind and rain!

There were multiple tents destroyed, but thank GOD nobody was seriously injured. 🙏

I would like to give a huge THANK YOU to my friends Amanda Honeycutt, her lovely mom Debbie, and the two gentlemen who jumped in to help me when my tent decided it wanted to go flying! 🌬️⛺

Thank you as well to the lady who was picking up my merchandise off the ground. I truly appreciate every single person who stopped to help.

And a special thank you to the two officers who helped me put away my tent and even wanted to help load my car. Your kindness did not go unnoticed!

I also want to thank the girls from Sunny Day Markets, especially Montana and Paige, for making the decision to call the event when they found out the storm was coming. That decision gave us vendors some extra time to pack up at least some, or most, of our merchandise.

But when it comes to the weather... there is just no telling when or what is going to come! Mother Nature definitely likes to keep us on our toes! 😂

I love the town of Mocksville, and I'll be back again next week!

So Mocksville... please...
