Meet the Dendritic Opal. Just dropped from The Vault and we are obsessed.

Dendritic opal is this gorgeous faceted semi-precious stone with wild little tree-branch patterns running through it (fun fact: “dendrite” literally means “tree” in Greek). The patterns aren’t carved or printed, they form naturally inside the stone over millions of years. Basically tiny landscapes you get to wear. No two are ever the same.

The Vault Collection is where we keep our one-of-a-kind treasures pulled from our archives. Pieces we love, in limited quantities, and once they sell out that’s it.

Meet The Charlie Pearl from our Vault Collection.

A limited edition piece featuring baroque freshwater pearls on an antique bronze chain. Each pearl is one-of-a-kind, with all the irregularity, character, and quiet beauty that makes baroque pearls so special.

We love the contrast. The soft luminosity of the pearls against the warmth and patina of the bronze. Old meets new. Heirloom meets everyday.

Being a mom is what I am most proud of. Juliette, Thomas, and Clara bring me such joy and fill me with so much love. They are my greatest blessing.

As I have built the LA LOOP community over the years, my children have been right by my side. They have cheered me on, picked me up when I needed it most, and reminded me what really matters at the end of a long day.

One memory I treasure: Juliette being me at a tradeshow in Tokyo one year, and afterward we traveled together - just the two of us. I cherish those one-on-one moments with each of my children, the conversations, the adventures, the inside jokes that come from really being present with one another.

This Mother’s Day, I am completely filled up and thank you for making me a mom. It is the role of my life.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there holding it all together with love.

Pearls are having a moment. But not in the way you remember.

They form slowly inside oysters, layer by layer, which is why each one is completely unique.

I just got back from Tokyo and could not stop noticing them. Young women everywhere wearing pearls. Layered, mixed, effortless. It felt cool, unexpected, and completely modern.

It made me see them differently.

For Mother’s Day, we are leaning into pearls. Pieces you can wear every day, layer in, and make your own.

For 25 Mother’s Days, LA LOOP has been part of quiet, everyday moments with mothers around the world.

There is something deeply meaningful to us about that. To be worn, lived in, reached for again and again. It is not something we take lightly.

This illustration was created for us by a New York based artist and appeared in The New Yorker, a place that holds a special place in our story. LA LOOP was born in New York City, and in the early days, long before everything moved online, we shared our work through print ads in these pages.

Seeing this moment, a child giving a LA LOOP to his mother, feels especially close to home.

To every mother who has made LA LOOP part of her life, thank you for letting us be there.
