Who We Are and Where We Came From:
House of Paschall has been years in the making. God has really been working in our lives these past few years and we have really come a long way. Here is how we started.
My daughter, Julia, and I, Alexa, have always been extremely close and I have made a intentional point to teach her what I felt were skills that would benefit her for a lifetime. I have made my children’s cute clothes for many, many years. I have always wanted them to look precious and unique. As a result, I have had many requests to make outfits for other children, which began the idea rolling that a business for us might be a good idea….but in the future.
As Julia grew up, she not only took an interest in sewing, but has blossomed into a true artist in jewelry making. She began spending all of her allowance to buy beads and making jewelry to give/sell to friends and family. She also has become quite the organizer and computer whiz. Again, the idea of a business came to our thoughts. We began thinking about it just a little more now…but still not yet.
As the years have gone by, Julia and my son, along with myself have all been diagnosed with severe rheumatoid arthritis. This was a crushing blow not only to me but also to Julia who was a college student. We knew that we would never be able to hold a “9 to 5” job with our disability, so we got creative and returned to our now age-old idea of a business. And so finally House of Paschall was born.
After almost a year of planning, getting registered with the state, and business set-up, we were ready to open our doors to the world. What most people don’t notice when they look at our shop is that we not only opened the doors to our shop, but also the doors to our hearts and our past. We hope that in some way our story will inspire others that have obstacles in their lives that even when it seems like nothing is going to work out, sometimes God has something planned for you far better than you could have every expected.
We are so thankful for our shop, House of Paschall, and hope that you love it too. We strive to give our customers the absolute best in quality and respect. We pride ourselves on running an honest business that is always there for our customers. But no matter what, we give all the credit to God for making sure that we got to this point…one way or another.
