As of 2013, in the US, Sneaker purchases were that of nearly $22 billion - and that's just in the US! According to Matt Powell of Forbes, The US contributes about 40% of the world’s sneaker sales. This makes the worldwide number about $55 Billion; with $33 billion done outside the US. As sneaker admirers and lovers of all things creative, we developed "Chicks N Kicks" as a way to target a group of
consumers that buy their kicks right alongside us: young women, aged 19 - 34. With CNK, our goal is simple: bring forth good vibes, good kicks and girl power in a way that appeals to the women who share our love for sneak appeal. Fashion commentary, star style moments, kick wish lists, and our marquee interview series allow us to promote and uplift successful women who are proving that brains, beauty, and a great pair of kicks make for an amazing laced hustle. The interview series, which kicked off in February of 2014, has featured exclusive interviews and photo shoots with some of today's top female trendsetters. Ultimately, we aim for CNK to be a place to promote a wide array of sneakers, a go-to resource for getting the insight on some of our favorite stars, and most importantly - a place where entrepreneurs, fashionistas, athletes, inspiring creative, and women from all walks of life feel the friendship.
