When a piece of jewelry carries three generations of faith and protection, every detail matters. ✨

A dear college friend (shout out Kappa Alpha Theta- Beta Sigma!) came to me with the most touching commission. Her daughter is heading off to college, and in their family, there is a treasured St. Christopher medallion. Her husband wears the St. Christopher that was once his father’s, and her son also wears one in gold. Both represent tangible familial connection along with the protection that comes with it.

As their daughter prepares for her own journey to college, my friend wanted her to carry that same blessing, but in a way that felt uniquely hers—feminine, distinctive, and entirely her own. We began sending sketches and ideas back and forth researching other St. Christopher medallions and what would feel most like her daughter. Once we fine tuned the design, I enlisted a talented craftsman to hand-carve the pendant in wax, ensuring every curve and detail would be one-of-a-kind before casting it with a second craftsman in gold.

Creating heirlooms that bridge generations is the part of my craft that brings me the most joy. This piece will travel with her, a reminder of home, heritage, and the love that surrounds her always. 🙏💛

Creating custom rings is always so special to me because I know the girl who wears each piece will cherish it forever and that it will always remind her of treasured memories at Camp Waldemar. This ring was even more meaningful—I had the honor of setting heirloom stones from a girl I know and love, using her grandmother’s gems to bring family history into a new chapter. Nothing brings me greater joy than giving beloved gemstones new life, and this project could not have been more precious for so many reasons. ✨💜

The stunning diamond takes center stage in this ring and the simple setting allows the stone to shine without distraction. The minimalist approach highlights the diamond’s brilliance, making it the true star of the piece and complimenting the stone is a warm, yellow gold band bringing a modern twist on a classic.

🌟 **A Ring of Memories: Crafting Love Across Generations** 🌟

Sometimes, the universe nudges us to take a call, and that’s exactly what happened when this beautiful client reached out, thanks to her sister’s heartfelt recommendation. Her words struck a chord, and what began as a busy day turned into a beautiful journey filled with tears and shared stories.

Losing her mom at the start of her Hilltopper year was a profound loss, especially for someone whose mother believed deeply in the magic of camp. Together, we crafted a ring that honors that bond, merging cherished memories with new beginnings.

This isn’t just any ring; it’s a symbol of love and legacy. With a sweet camper’s monogram, a purple gemstone representing her maternal grandmother from the Tejas tribe, and an orange stone honoring this camper’s mom and my sweet client, a true connection to her roots. The emerald shines for the great aunts and cousins, completing this tapestry of family history.

Designing this ring felt like creating a bridge between past and present, with her mother’s spirit guiding us every step of the way. It’s an honor to craft something so special for a 4th generation Waldemar camper. Here’s to love, memory, and the beautiful stories that bind us. 💖✨
