Lois was born in Philadelphia, PA, as a child she would visit the Jersey shore with family. She always loved the ocean and beach combing for sea shells. As a teen her family relocated to South Western Pennsylvania along the Youghiogheny River. So the beach was no longer a short drive away. It wasn't until she was in mid 30s that she visited Lake Erie in Erie, PA and discovered what beach glass was - she was immediately addicted. Once she started venturing out to other beaches along the lake she fell in love with Ashtabula Harbor. She now have a "second " home in Andover to facilitate her vacations being centered around beach combing. Thankfully her husband, Richard, loves the beach as much as she does.

When she not combing the shores of Lake Erie her superpower is forensics nursing. Working steady afternoons gives her summer mornings to search along the river for amazing treasures. Lois first started using her beach combing finds to make jewelry and has since moved on to some other creative artwork as well. She loves creating jewelry pieces and art that others appreciate.

School will be out soon! Bring on the bbq’s, pool parties and get togethers!! If you want Petunia to stop by your party, all you have to do is reach out to us!
