We close on our new house tomorrow, and I am super excited because I will finally get the jewelry studio I've been dreaming of for years. The previous owner had a little shop in the basement, and he left all of the cabinets and countertops for me. Plus there is a window! I've been working in our basement here for six years with no natural light and flickering fluorescent overheads, so this new space is going to be like heaven. Can't wait to share some photos once I get it all set up. I'm starting to gravitate more towards fall colors like the warm saffron yellow of these pretty shell teardrops. I suspended them from bright lime green agate. The stones are wrapped in oxidized copper and suspended from handmade copper ear wires with a twist detail for added texture. Experimenting with new finding styles like this hand-forged and textured copper clasp. Still working my way through my current stash of stone and glass beads. For this bracelet, I used up the last of these chunky Amazonite rounds. Amazonite comes in a variety of blue shades, and these particular beads hover between a pale duck egg blue and sky blue. Not visible in this photo is the other side of the clasp which is a unique twisted element accented with aquamarine and freshwater pearl dangles. One-of-a-kind. http://bit.ly/2uB2Oae

I've been challenging myself to finish using some of my supplies that I've had for years. I think these bronzite teardrops were one of the first purchases I made when I opened my Etsy shop back in 2009. I love how they look like petrified wood. They pair beautifully with oxidized copper and the brown veining in the natural turquoise slices.These are my last pair so these earrings are one-of-a-kind.

Love that these textured circle earrings make a statement and are still neutral and lightweight enough for everyday wear. I think I'm going to make an extra pair for myself! The stones are gray lace agate coins and each one has a different variation of gray tones and white, so every pair is slightly different. Available now in both shops.

The gold filled wrapping on this perfect little teardrop of deep blue lapis lazuli pulls out the scattering of gold flecks in the stone. It's like a little piece of celestial night sky suspended from your throat. The pendant is suspended from dark oxidized sterling silver chain accented with tiny faceted pyrite beads. As someone with a February birthday, I am particularly partial to Amethyst, so I couldn't resist when I spotted this pretty carved Amethyst beads. I painstakingly wrapped each one in sterling silver wire to create this simple and elegant bracelet. The beads are small enough that this particular design is perfect for everyday wear.
