It’s that time of year! We’re gearing up for all of the upcoming art and holiday markets!

Last night we were able to pack our local library, where our friend and mentor, Dr. Anton Treuer, talked about indigenous life, language, and culture.

We also gifted him with a birchbark appliqué medallion as a token of our gratitude for all the contributions and meaningful work he has done to bridge our communities, build understanding, and keep our histories and culture alive for future generations.

Chi Miigwech Dr. Treuer, library Director Rob Ankarlo, Cumberland School District, and all of our friends at the library who helped to make the program a success!

Where does our inspiration take root? From our plant relatives! We got these asemaa plants in the ground a little late in the year, but they are blooming so beautifully!
