Um so ten days of no beading. I took it with me but never had time to sit and work. But I did find BEAD STORES! Three of them to be exact. And started working the Xmas tree earrings. A fun little earring for the holidays.
Please please please support your local bead store. They are becoming more and more rare. Yes it’s easy and sometimes cheaper to buy online BUT your local bead store is a WEALTH of information and you may even find friends. Anyhow.

I don’t post my kids. But I’m out of town and not beading. I’m cooking for this kid. lol! CONGRATS to this bad baby. May the world be your oyster and show you all the amazing things there are to see and do! You got this! You did it!!

So I made the top part of the Frida with the intention of the skirt. I started working on the skit and it wasn’t working the way I wanted it to. So I started making other skirts and taking apart other skirts. lol. Ugh. Anyhow. Found the skirt I like and tan tan. Now to finish her partner. These are about 3 1/2 inches long. I’m going out of town for the next 10 days. I don’t have any markets for this month or next yet. BUT. That can always change. I’m debating a couple shows for June. Just haven’t committed to anything just yet.

I’m sick. So I’m gonna repost sacred hearts I made back in 2019? I’d like to come back to them and make more. I loved them. Just one of those things. Ideas come and have to take a backseat to other ideas and things. Blah. I do want to make some again.

Update on my desk. Apparently I felt the need to clean the mess I’ve had. Put away some of the colors I won’t be using. It wasn’t too bad. At least I can think while working. The chaos was a bit much. lol

So um, who’s going to separate out the colors when I’m done?! 🤣😭 when I’m making earrings I cull (go through my beads) to pick out the best and most consistent size but I brush them around with my hand and have now made quite the mess honestly. I need to finish the mate to the 5 inch and 4 inch version of this earring. 😳 I don’t like having “bead soup” so I’ll probably pick through the beads and separate them when I’m feeling uninspired lol!

So I wanted gangster music but I love the Rolling Stones. lol! Anyhow when the homies hit you up in the dms talking about I heard you’re coming to California!?! 😳 I am!?! 😳 when!?! lol!! And asks for a pair of earrings but I decided to use ALL the colors. 🤭

Let me introduce myself, my name is Gema (sounds like hem up my pants 😊) I’ve been beading for the last 10 years now consistently. I beaded as a teenager but once I had cats and kids and the cats used the loom as dental floss, I put it all my beads away. But I picked it up again and now this is what I do. I bead things. A lot of what I do is one of a kind. If I make another pair they usually aren’t exactly the same. I’m hoping to do bigger shows this year, so I’ve put off smaller markets to build my inventory. As always if you see something you have to have, say something! USPS is about $10 to ship stateside. If you see something and it’s out of your budget, say something. I’m always down to work out a payment plan or something. Anyhow. This is a picture my daughter took of me a few weeks back. And the second picture is what I’m working on at the moment. 💗
