Job Brief
I’m searching for a part-time Marketing Assistant to work closely with the Marketing Manager (me) to develop and implement marketing plans and strategies for my client, a patient care analytics managed service provider. As a successful hire, you will be tasked with establishing our social media presence, helping identify marketing trends and opportunities for growth, and assisting in the creation of various marketing materials. You will also provide administrative support to the Marketing Manager and VP of Sales. This is primarily a work-from-home position, but in-person meetings with the Marketing Manager may occasionally be required. Hours may be very limited to start, but there is unlimited potential as our company grows.
To be chosen for this role, you must be currently pursuing or have a Bachelor's degree in marketing. Prior work experience in administration or marketing is a plus. Effective written and verbal communication skills and a high level of attention to detail are both important keys to success in this role.
Responsibilities
· Provide administrative support to the Marketing Manager and VP of Sales
· Collaborate with the marketing manager, internal teams, clients and partners on marketing strategy
· Help maintain integrity of client's Google ads program
· Update project tracker spreadsheet and ensure project deadlines are being met
· Assist in the preparation for industry events
· Assist with the composition and posting of online content on the client's website and social media accounts
· Assist with marketing literature (brochures, press releases, case studies, white papers, etc.) to augment the client's presence in the market
· Help identify marketing trends and key opportunities for innovation
· Maintain client's CRM database
Requirements
· Must be a self-starter who is able to effectively work both independently and with a team
· You must be able to stay on task, juggle multiple projects, and adhere to deadlines
· Excellent knowledge of Google suite online applications
· Excellent communication and people skills
· Currently pursuing or have attained a college degree in Marketing
· Digital Marketing experience a plus
· Interest in the medical field wouldn’t be a bad thing, either
