Custom charm jumble for my client. I repurposed some gold and a sapphire from her dad. I used part of the shank to make the bail for that pendant to try and reuse every part. Also, repurposed the diamonds from that ring to sprinkle in the hair of this Italian lady, and put them on a gold Snake Charmer. Timeless heirlooms she can now wear everyday. Thank you Marci!

The universe has shown me a lot of horses lately. Maybe it’s living in Nebraska? Maybe it’s animal lovers uniting in a jewelry kinda way. Whatever it is, I’m here for it. In the last month or so, this is the 4th Irish Horse coin I have been commissioned to make for their special occasion. This one is for a September birthday so I set a little star set sapphire, sterling bezel and black leather bolo. How fun!? Do we need more bolos? Probably yes.

A friend recently dragged in this new client 😆. When friends refer their friends to me, it’s not always a match. Maybe our styles don’t match or I’m just not their cup of tea and that’s ok. I feel like this time was a perfect match and hopefully for a long time coming. She had originally bought one of my rings from the Joslyn Museum shop and needed a re sizing, but from there we created a couple pieces she can enjoy for years to come! I got to challenge myself in a couple ways creating these two pieces which was so creatively satisfying.
I have also been struggling a bit in my new space finding the light. While walking around the building I finally found it and just so happened to be in front of this beautiful painting by Robin Zagurski. It’s a whole vibe 🖤

Just a quick thank you to you all that stopped by this weekend to our open studio Friday and the Millwork Market yesterday. So many fun conversations and new friends. Although exhausted, I love this life. Happy Sunday 🖤

Hey friends! I’m still here. In between custom orders I have become a tiny bit obsessed with this. Using what I learned from my stone setting class at GRS TOOLS
A few of these have sold but I’m growing a small collection of coins. These make a great gift to someone or yourself to commemorate a trip of a lifetime, a birthday, anniversary, keepsake from a loved one. Anyways, just wanted to say HI and catch ya on the coin flip side 🫠🤭

Well it’s been a few weeks but I just wanted to share my trip to Emporia Kansas for a week long stone setting class. I’m sooooo glad I did this. There is so much to be learned and practiced in this kind of trade work. The people we got to meet, masters of their own art, sharing their knowledge with us, was priceless. We were lucky to have John Sorich IV as our instructor, he was so patient, kind, and made the learning so fun! All the staff at GRS TOOLS made us all feel so welcomed and I would love to take more classes with them! I’m so excited to start practicing what I learned but still settling in after my studio move and catching up on custom work. Soon little Jedi, soon.

After ten years at Bench, I’m Moving!
This is hitting me a little hard. I didn’t think I would get so emotional making this decision but here we are. Don’t look me in the eye when we talk about it 😭😂
I have made so many new friends and have designed SO MANY pieces in those years. It’s wild. This place was my sanctuary. My peace.
I’m ready for this. I’m so excited to see where this goes and to experience something new. I’m ready to meet a new community of artists. I will also be having a roomie! and I will be sharing a studio at just up the street! This will be a quick transition and will be in the new place by June 1st. I will need some time to get moved and set up in the new space sooooo I may not be taking many appointments in the next couple weeks.
Thanks to everyone that has climbed those damn stairs to see me!
More to come!

My little collection is coming along, let’s call it the “Dark Sea Collection”. A compilation of my familiar styles and collected gems to keep us close to those mysterious bodies of water without getting in too deep. (Insert dad joke)
First available at April 18-19, 10th Bancroft! 🖤💙🩵

A double snakey pick up day! We designed this snake signet after my pinkie ring just bigger and with diamonds. The gold and diamonds came from repurposing some pieces she had and I’m so jealous! The heavy silver snake we paired with a gold nugget from her family. She’s really growing her HK stacks. 🖤🐍

A super pretty rework for a new bride! This marquise is so beautiful and had such a unique cut. I think the new setting is doing all the justice for this pointy bad boy!
