Humboldt Gold Exchange is hiring for a full-time sales associate position (part-time could be an option for the right person). Please bring your resume to the store at 1631 4th St in Eureka to speak with Keith more about the position
General Responsibilities:
• Exceptional customer service is a must. Greeting and assisting customers with professionalism and warmth
• Be familiar with and/or willing to learn different types of precious metals, including but not limited to variations of gold, silver, platinum
• Be familiar with and/or willing to learn different types of jewelry, including but not limited to variations in modern, antique, costume, precious metals and stones
• Help maintain inventory and merchandising
• Basic understanding of the POS to maintain accurate transaction records
• List inventory on platforms such as Etsy, Instagram, and eBay
• Keep merchandise straightened, clean and organized
• Knowledge and experience with fi****ms, ammunition, and gun safety is a plus.
Qualifications
• Basic math and computer skills
• Able to read, write, and speak English clearly (bilingual is a plus)
• Friendly, energetic, and dependable personality
• Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 21 years of age or older (based off California State Law regarding gun sales)
• Must be able to pass legally required background check and fingerprint scan done by Eureka Police Department (COE is lawfully required)
