It’s here! It’s Mixed Metals Monday! This is the first of my work to be posted on my website and Etsy page (links below) - my fall project of having (most of) my work online has begun! Today: a selections of my mixed metal work in sterling silver, gold-filled (rose and yellow gold), copper and brass. A little silk fiber work thrown in as well. DIFFERENT work on each site, so feel free to check both out, and don’t hesitate to ask questions of any piece if you have them.

Next up: Wood inlay pieces. Coming Wednesday for “Wood Wednesday” (of course)!

Photos continue! I should have enough to start a series of drops on my site and Etsy page - starting THIS MONDAY, when I will begin to release a limited number of pieces for “Mixed Metal Mondays”!

(don’t know if that’s an overused name but I do not care lol)

I am working on photography and practicing my alliteration at the same time. Next up for photos: wood inlay. Can you guess which days they might appear online? Stay tuned!

Working on my jewelry photography is time-consuming (as each piece is one of a kind), but I am entertained by using my impulse purchase of this little hand display. It’s about the size of a 7 year old’s hand! So cute.

I’m hoping to start next week with limited drops of work on my website and Etsy shop - with the hope of having each unique piece in one place or the other before Thanksgiving! A tall order (considering I’m always developing new work), but it’s LONG overdue and many people over the summer really wanted to see what I have available. It’s on its way!

This week is photography week (plus some other things to work on)!!! LOTS of pieces to get on the website (basically everything), so it’s a lot. Will be dropping batches of work on both my Etsy page and my site in the coming days/weeks - will announce when they drop!!!

Very excited to finally get this process started - I know people have been asking when more work will be available on my site, and it’s coming soon!

It’s day two of the Festival of The Arts and my LAST DAY of outdoor festivals for the year! A little cloudy but the rain is mostly holding by off (at the moment). Still have some new work in mixed metals, wood and silver inlay, and silver pieces! Come by booth 99 today until 6!

The sun is peeking through the clouds! I’m here at the Festival of The Arts today and tomorrow - today 11-7 and tomorrow 10-6. It’s my LAST outdoor show of the season, hope you can make it! New work in lost wax casting (sterling silver and gemstones), wood with silver inlay, and mixed metals. Booth 99!

I was so busy in this glorious weather yesterday - and had some signal difficulties - but today the sky matches my booth and the weather is perfect for the Art in the Park in Lake Forest! I’ll be here in Market Square until 5 today - with some new work in wood, where I’m designing cutouts of trees and leaves related to the wood I’m carving and adding inlay. I love this new direction! Of course, I still have my mixed metals and lost wax cast sterling silver work, so come on by booth 79!

Before my last show this weekend, I was in Maine at a house my grandparents have had for over 60 years. I’ve spent summers throughout my childhood and adult life there - and have a lot of ties to Maine in my work (more on that in another post). One favorite each visit is the Farnsworth Art Museum in Rockland, which has amazing art and a really lovely gift shop.

I’m thrilled to announce that my is now for sale at the Museum Store!!

If you are in the area, come see my work there - and of course visit the wonderful museum itself. It’s really world-class. 😁

Day after an art show sometimes means drying out displays when it’s rainy - this is the first time I’m drying out displays due to HUMIDITY alone! My foosball table has been taken over by ring forms and wood panels, and my necklace busts are on all sorts of surfaces for a couple of days. A good show this weekend, but WOW was it muggy! Next show not until Labor Day, so it’s time to reset.

The sun is starting to peek out! Me and my not-so-little dragonfly friend are here at the Morton Arboretum W**e and Art Walk (booth 54) from 10-5 today. Come see some new work in wood inlay, lost wax casting, and mixed metals!
