Day 4 of - Yearbook

After visiting my mom this morning, I got stuck in traffic for something like 2 hours on my way home. So, this was a bit rushed. But, it got done. Huzzah! Celebrating the little victories.

The Magnolia prompt for Day 3 of had me first turning to the Southern Magnolia leaves in my yard. I used part of one of those as the wings on the Tim Holtz Paperdoll (after soaking the wing shapes in glycerin and water for a little while - we’ll see how they do.)

I also remembered a napkin in my stash with a magnolia on it. So, it worked well in the background for this Magnolia Fairy.

First day of ICAD!

I really didn’t think I was going to use the Surfboard prompt from and but here we are.

And, this card took me FOREVER as I just let myself play and try to get into the groove of working on an index card once again.

I also thought I was going to hate it. However, I somehow pulled it together in the end with a little sentiment that came to me as I worked.
