She's lovely, I think, with blue lace agate and a purple moonstone. Mixed metals using copper and sterling silver. It still has a final polish and a chain yet to go but basically this pendant is done.

Piece by piece 🖤this pendant is copper and sterling silver as well as blue lace agate and a purple blue rainbow moonstone. I think its going to be a necklace. So, stay tuned.
Nex5 is fine tuning the "baskets", filing, setting and a final polish.

Copper backings sawed out and ready for their sterling silver prongs. Blue lace agate and a very purple blue moonstone that compliment each other and the copper.

A few more passes until the detail is really tuned in. As you can see at the end of this video. The dark color is from the annealing, so is the rainbow effect. Once this goes in the pickle it will be shiny bright copper....until I patina it.
Many steps to make a thing. ❤️

Round 1! As nice as the "finished" or rather last pic is, there are a lot of details missing. Because its metal, you get a few squished in and then its time to anneal it. Also different materials, (like the wadded packing paper you see me use or ceral box cardboard etc), help to push in the smallest details. An in progress piece is annealed 3 or more, sometimes many more, times. I think this is 2 or 3 passes, I dont want to rush and split the metal.
In subsequent posts I'll show the next set of passes to finished.

These all lined up make me think of the tunnel scenes in Coraline. I love that movie!
Set up for filing and prepping for solder. 5 pair of earrings in process, using 14 gauge copper wire and a little way to go.

Playing with shapes in some heavy 14 gauge copper round wire and anticlastic pliers. Using it like a tiny shaping hammer.
Filing and soldering next.
