💕 SAVANNAH GIRLS TRIP — DAY 2! 💕🌴
We packed SO much into Friday, and I’m finally catching up on sharing our adventures! 😂
We started with breakfast at the hotel before hopping aboard the Old Town Trolley to explore Savannah! 🚎
🌳 We wandered through beautiful Forsyth Park, browsed the street vendors, and grabbed iced coffee and treats at The Sentient Bean.
🏛️ We toured the beautiful Mercer Williams House and learned some fascinating Savannah history.
🍸 Then things got a little interesting at the American Prohibition Museum… because what’s a visit to a prohibition museum without stopping at the speakeasy?! 😂 Grandma enjoyed a daiquiri, I tried a sidecar, and Collins had a pear ginger spritz. Grandma’s drink was the winner! 🥂
🍽️ Dinner was at Magnolia Cafe & Kitchen in City Market, where we sat outside, listened to live acoustic music, and enjoyed some AMAZING food. The Brie Bites were fabulous, the ribeye stroganoff was delicious, and we officially joined the CLEAN PLATE CLUB! 🙌
🍪 We also made a stop at Byrd’s Famous Cookies to bring home treats for the boys!
🛍️ A little souvenir shopping and of course… ice cream from Leopold’s! Grandma tried watermelon cucumber sorbet, Collins had pistachio, and I went with mint chocolate chip. YUM! 🍦
We ended the night back at the hotel with Collins swimming while Grandma and I planned our next adventure, followed by a family game of Skyjo. ❤️
And somewhere in the middle of all this, I apparently bought Collins a long-eared bunny Jellycat and completely forgot about it until we got back to the hotel. 🤣🤣 Motherhood is wild!
The best part? Getting to experience all of this with my mom and my girl. Three generations, new adventures, lots of laughs, and memories we’ll be talking about for years.
Savannah, you’re treating us well! ❤️🌴
