Today, forgive yourself for believing that feeling drained, sluggish, and running on empty is just “part of getting older.”

It isn’t.

I hit 50 and realized the afternoon slump didn’t have to be my normal.

For years, many of us have accepted low energy as a way of life. We reach for another cup of coffee. We push through. We tell ourselves we’ll rest later.
