I create nature-inspired copper jewelry using a variety of metalsmithing techniques, from acid etching and annealing to shaping and finishing, along with methods Iโ€™ve developed over time. Each piece is made by hand from start to finish.

Apparently today is the first day of fall, and it almost slipped right past me. Iโ€™ve been pretty wrapped up in things lately, but not so much that Iโ€™ve stopped noticing the season changing around me.

Iโ€™m still stopping for the little things in nature that make me smile, like this dandelion tucked among bright red leaves and green grass. The colors and signs of change in this scene remind me that what comes next is always waiting in the wings.

I may have almost missed the turning of the season on the calendar, but I havenโ€™t missed the first leaves beginning to change or the delightful coolness in the morning breeze. It's about the little things. โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’š
