I love unusual jewelry, and that's what drives my designs and creative thinking. My jewelry is created primarily using bead embroidery, bead weaving and other techniques, many of which require my favorite tools: a needle and thread. I taught myself to sew at age 5, when I decided to alter my favorite Halloween costume to fit a purple stuffed rabbit. As an adult, my love of jewelry morphed into bea

ding for fun, but really became a passion when I discovered these intricate and time-consuming techniques. My primary materials are tiny glass seed beads, semi-precious gemstones and pearls. Through intricate, hand-stitched and beaded techniques, I create durable, attention-getting designs. Bold, elegant, artsy, modern, rebellious—day or night.

Up next: The Studio Arts Festival in Irvine at Heritage Community Park. Don't miss another chance to shop in person with me and support other California artists. This event is in a beautiful location in Irvine and will also have food vendors. Come make a day out of it!

In the meantime, I am working on creating more one-of-a-kind macrame bracelets and a few more statement necklaces—including at least one new Mexican talavera tile pendant.

I also have two new ideas for my next large beaded scarf necklace. Something that should look beautiful along side the smaller cooper one currently in my collection. Completing the new scarf by June 6 will be a long shot, but fingers crossed!!!

Join us for the 11th annual Art Market! Free admission! Art demos! Kids’ pavilion! Beer and wine garden! Food vendors! Live entertainment! Silent auction! We had 4000 attendees last year - come out and join the fun. Have you ever heard me say, "A lost earring is a broken heart"? Well, I'm there today. I've had these little hoops for 20-plus years. I've run a marathon wearing them; these have been the earrings I wear when I'm not wearing any jewelry. And one fell out at the gym today and has seemingly disappeared.......

I should have been more careful. I knew these hoops were getting old and not clicking as securely as they have in the past. This is your reminder to wear your earring backings. Also be mindful of older items and get them repaired as needed.

It may still be 2025, but I am already planning for next year! Here is a sneak peak at some of the art festivals I will be participating in during 2026.
