Behind the scenes: following a little curiosity.
Lately, I’ve been thinking differently about some of the stones I cut.
Not simply as stones that will become jewelry, but as pieces that might become talismans. Bringing together the natural character of the stone, shape, symbolism, and intention.
I’m not entirely sure where this exploration will lead yet, and I think that’s part of what I’m enjoying about it.
Right now, I’m simply noticing which stones and shapes seem to have something more to say.
Sometimes creating begins with curiosity rather than a plan.

This weekend was such a wonderful reminder of why I love creating. 💚

It meant so much to see familiar faces, meet new ones, and hear from people who came looking specifically for my jewelry. Knowing that the pieces I create are appreciated, worn, and loved is something I don't take for granted.

As I packed everything away, I found myself thinking about where my creative work might be leading next.

I've always believed stones can be more than something beautiful. They can hold meaning, mark a moment, remind us of an intention, or simply help us feel connected to something important.

Lately, I've been curious about exploring that idea more intentionally through talismans. Pieces created not only to be worn, but to carry personal meaning and intention.

I'm not quite sure yet what that will become.

For now, I'm simply following the thread and seeing where it leads.

My labor is with my hands. Creating jewelry, hands on massage, holding space for healing, tuning vibration and energy. On this Labor Day, I celebrate the sacred work of hands everywhere: hands that build, nurture, soothe, and create. May today be a reminder to rest your hands and fill your spirit.

I’ve added a small collection of newly finished pendants to the shop. Each one hand-cut, shaped, polished, and wrapped by me from start to finish.

These pieces were created slowly, with attention to the stone’s natural character and what it wanted to become. Some were found along the shores of Lake Michigan, some repurposed from everyday materials, and others chosen for their steady, supportive presence.

Each pendant is one of a kind, crafted to be worn as both adornment and quiet companion.
