This piece was started close to a year ago. I knew what I wanted it to look like from the beginning, but some aspects would have to wait as I was (and still am) accumulating all the proper tools and the skill to employ these jewelry making techniques. Looking at it now that it's so close to being finished I feel glad that I have stuck it out this long. And I'm grateful that the desire and drive to practice and improve. Prepping the tube silver to accept a 2mm stone, and setting this Tanzanite gemstone into that setting without damaging the stone is a feat that takes skill... so you'll excuse me if I give my horn a lil toot 😁

I am so stoked on this one! Extremely satisfied with how it turned out considering some of the challenges I faced while crafting it😅.

The stone is a 14ct Royal Aztec Mexican Lace that I cut with love and mindful attentiveness. The setting is 4.6 grams of 940 Argentium Silver and showcases hand engravings of my own design in the prongs, bale and backplate of this unique custom piece that I am calling Cosmic Terrascape. Truly a 1 of 1
