Elaria’s Tear
A legend carried in stone and silver

In the heart of an ancient forest where even the wind speaks in hushed tones, there lies a spring untouched by time. Its waters shimmer with a light all their own, said to mirror the soul of any who gaze upon them. This sacred place is the domain of Elaria—a naiad not of song and play, but of silence and sorrow.

Elaria was different from her kin. Where others brought joy and mischief, she offered reflection and peace. Her spring became a haven for the weary of heart—wanderers burdened by grief, those lost in memory, or aching from love unfulfilled. She listened, never speaking, and those who poured their hearts into the water often left changed, their pain softened by her quiet presence.

One night, a man came to the spring—a craftsman, once a great artificer, now hollowed by a curse. He had lost the memory of the one he loved most. Not just her face or her name, but the feeling of her, the warmth, the weight of her presence. He had searched the world, not to find her, but to remember what he had lost.

Elaria listened to his story, and for the first time in many lifetimes, her own heart stirred. She did not know the woman he spoke of, but in his grief, she saw a reflection of her own—an ancient ache, long buried and quietly endured.

A single tear slipped from her eye and fell into the man’s open palm. As it touched his skin, it solidified—cool and smooth, veined with soft blue chalcedony, pink calcite, and a single bloom of red deep within. It was the essence of the spring, of Elaria herself: calm, compassionate, and touched with the ache of memory.

The man carried it with him until the end of his days. Whether it returned his memories, no one knows. But those who met him said he smiled often, though his eyes always held something far away—like someone who had remembered something too beautiful to speak aloud.

Now, the tear has resurfaced, wrapped in copper and care. To wear it is to carry a fragment of Elaria’s gift: a token of empathy, healing, and the enduring strength of love that refuses to be forgotten.

Lea’s Chrysalis
An artifact of inspiration, bound in copper and shadow

It is said that once, in the twilight folds of Faerie, the Leanan Sidhe took pity on a mortal stonecutter who mourned the death of beauty. He wandered the shores, collecting lifeless fossils, weeping that time had stolen the soul from all things lovely.

Lea appeared to him in the form of a butterfly woven from moonlight and sorrow. She spoke no words, but pressed a single crinoid stone into his palm—ancient sea life turned to silent memory—and vanished in a flutter of silver wings.

The stonecutter, driven by a fevered muse, wrapped the fossil in copper drawn from the bones of the earth, shaping wire into spirals like wings mid-beat. As he worked, he whispered his grief and longing into the stone… and when he finished, it pulsed faintly with the hum of Faerie.

What he did not know was this: the fossil was not dead. It was sleeping. Within its mineral heart, a fragment of Lea’s essence slumbered—her last chrysalis.

Solara’s Ember

Long ago, in an age when gods still walked among mortals, there was a celestial being named Solara, the Guardian of the Sun’s Heart. She carried within her a fragment of the first sunrise, a golden ember that pulsed with the warmth of creation itself. This ember was said to hold boundless energy, capable of igniting the forge of the gods or rekindling a dying star.

For eons, Solara watched over the ember, ensuring it never fell into the hands of those who would abuse its power. But as time passed, she saw the world grow colder, shadows stretching where light had once reigned. Sensing that the balance was shifting, Solara made a choice—she cast the ember down to the earth, entrusting it to those with the wisdom to wield its light.

Legends say the ember took the form of a golden stone, hidden for centuries beneath the earth’s surface, waiting for the right hands to find it. Those who gaze into its depths claim to see flickers of an eternal flame, a spark of something ancient and powerful. It is said that whoever wears Solara’s Ember carries a piece of the first dawn, a reminder that even in darkness, the light is never truly lost.

This incredible green stone is one of the rarest I've found in all my years of searching! To preserve its natural beauty, I left it slightly less polished—fully polishing it would have dulled the stunning crystal flashes within.

Wrapping this stone was a challenge, as I aimed to use as little wire as possible while ensuring a secure hold and an elegant design that enhances rather than overwhelms the stone.

This unique piece is ready for a new home! If you're interested, send me a message. Have any questions? Feel free to ask in the comments—and don't forget to share!

From Rough Stone to Elegant Pendant

This wire-wrapped beauty started as a raw piece of amphibolite that I found near Spruce Pine, NC—a region known for its rich geology. What caught my eye was the deep, almost cosmic mix of black and gold speckles, giving it a bold yet sophisticated look.

I shaped and polished the stone to highlight its natural patterns while keeping as much of its original form as possible. The wire wrapping was an exciting challenge, balancing structure and flow to complement the stone’s sleek, elongated shape.

Amphibolite isn’t a common jewelry stone, but its durability and striking appearance make it a hidden gem. This piece has a strong, almost ancient energy to it—perfect for anyone who loves earthy, one-of-a-kind jewelry.

What do you think? Would you wear this piece?
