Little Fordite pendants- how cute are these?! Fordite comes from chunks of automotive paint. During the painting process the runoff collects under the metal floor grate and hardens into chunks. Very much like tree rings measure age in a tree- each stripe is a car. Forming the cabochonsreveals the layers and also some very cool swirly patterns.

These earrings have been patiently waiting on my desk for their turn to come to life. I just love the Royston Ribbon Turquoise in this caramel colored host rock. Reminds me so much of deer hide.
