Danielle Miller Jewelry Wedding Ring Workshops and handmade contemporary fine jewelry, engagement rings, wedding bands and bespoke custom projects. Based in Greenville, SC.

Growing up with artistic inclinations in a steel mill town in the Appalachian Mountains, Danielle took in the everyday sights of rolling hills, freight trains and the lattice of bridges, with a child’s wonder-filled eyes. All of this sparked her own creative industry, which she now express through jewelry design. Clean, simple geometric forms are the building blocks of Danielle's designs, which ar

e influenced by architecture, machines and nature. While combining these different influences, she strives to create modern, elegant and comfortable jewelry with a playful twist. Her newest body of work is inspired by the garden outside her studio as well as geology and topographic maps. She creates peaks, valleys and fissures hand forged in sterling & gold w/ bold gem accents. Leaves, petals and vines made in sterling and gold are stripped down to their basic geometric forms and combined with pearls and diamonds. The resulting modern designs are both feminine and dramatic but still playful.

14k yellow vs. 18k yellow 💛 Which would you choose?

Each metal has its pros and cons. —The primary differences of these gold alloys is gold 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆, daily 𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿 richness, and overall 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲.

•𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆: 18k has a higher gold content than 14k. 18k is 75% pure gold and 14k is 58.3%.
•𝗗𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆: 18k is softer than 14k and will scratch and bend more easily.
•𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿: 18k has a rich, buttery yellow hue. 14k has a paler yellow and sometimes muted yellow-orange hue.
•𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲: 18k has a much higher price tag due to its higher content of pure gold.
