5 years ago today.... I was in the thick of it. I didnt know what fatigue really meant before this...I didn't know that standing to wash the dishes would feel like my back was crushing, I didnt know id be sleeping in a recliner for almost a year because that was the only way I could get comfortable. I didnt know it was possible to be so scared yet so peaceful at the same time. I didn't know God like i thought I did until I was in the very thick of it....until He was all I had, until I couldn't cry anymore and beg Him to heal me and carry me. I didn't know what peace that surpasses all understanding meant til I was in the dark thickness of it....until He spread His love amd light all around me, until He whispered in my ear...just lean on me, there is an abundant life waiting.
There was so much I didn't know then and still so much I don't know now....but I do know Who holds my hand, my today's, my tomorrow's, and I know He will guide me through it all.
