For those familiar with the Alabama Competition circuit in each of the respective sanctioning bodies knows that this great state produces some of the strongest competitive cooks in the US, from Kids Q’s to World Food Championships these individuals are always down for a challenge and bring their A Game!
We’d like to congratulate one of our own for an accomplishment that Pitmasters around the world are spending their weekends chasing, hoping for a chance to compete for $1,000,000.00 in Las Vegas next April. Cody Howard with Rollin Smoke BBQ punched his ticket early, we are excited to see what the future holds and watch Cody bring the heat!

A perfect score in KCBS is something every competitor chases and, if they’re fortunate, occasionally achieves. A Perfect Perfect score, however, is much rarer and an incredibly humbling accomplishment to witness.

Over the years, we’ve heard stories of teams winning multiple categories with a 180, but we’ve never personally seen a team earn Perfect Perfect scores in both Chicken and Ribs on the same day.

Well, we can officially mark that off the list.

Congratulations to Big Fluff BBQ on an absolutely phenomenal cook at Ditto Landings Reelin’-N-Smokin’ today! Achieving a Perfect Perfect score in both categories is an extraordinary feat and a testament to consistency, skill, and ex*****on at the highest level.

What an amazing cook. Congratulations on a performance for the record books!
