Not to be too dramatic, but shows are a lot of work! Not just the day of either. There’s the inventory build up (plus the 20 new ideas I have to sift through and figuring out which ones I can pull off in time 😂), checking and doublechecking the extra stuff, and deciding how everything will be displayed (and thinking of back-ups when I actually get to the set-up and making sure it’s wind proof). It’s not that I don’t love seeing people (customers & fellow makers 💕), but I also only have 8 summers left with my Pi and me being focused on show prep every week of the summer is not how I want to spend them. I’ll still be making and listing those things. My focus is going to be on growing my online presence through my website and social media. Swim mom projects! My little Zo picked swim team as her activity this year (with some possible prompting and bribery from me… maybe 🤷🏼‍♀️). Hopefully I can get my mom’s lobster sweater done with all the time I’ll have hanging out in the pool during practice this year 🤣
