We also know that today’s players like having a personal connection to their glove. Our services offer you the opportunity to keep your glove in game ready form and to personalize it to fit your needs. Gloves breakdown over time and repeated use. Laces wear out and gloves lose their original shape, this leads many people to spend hundreds of dollars on a new glove. Re-lacing a worn glove is a daunting task for many people, let our mechanics take the worry out of this task for you, pick your colors and let us give your glove the tune up it needs to keep it running like new.

Sometimes the right lace color completely changes a glove. 🔥

This black Rawlings Gold Glove Elite catcher’s mitt came in for a full-service refresh, and we swapped the original black laces for Indian tan.

Cleaned up. Conditioned. Freshly relaced. Ready to get back behind the plate. ⚾

The Indian tan gives the black leather a classic contrast without taking away from the glove itself.

This college gamer was ready for some attention. ⚾🔥

Hartwell sent us his Rawlings Pro Preferred catcher’s mitt from Georgia for our Signature Service, along with one additional issue that definitely needed to be addressed, a torn web.

We gave the mitt the full treatment, replaced the damaged web and finished everything off with a black relace.

The result: cleaned up, repaired, freshly laced and ready to get back behind the plate.

Hartwell’s mitt was packed up and shipped back to Georgia today. 📦⚾

Another one ready in time for the fall season. 🍂⚾

Repeat customer Jason brought his Wilson A2000 back to Glove Mechanics for our Signature Service, a thorough cleaning and conditioning followed by a full relace in navy blue.

Fall is a great time to get this kind of work done. There’s less pressure to be without your glove, we can take care of worn laces and season-long buildup, and you’re not scrambling to get everything ready when practices and tryouts roll around.

We were able to get Jason’s A2000 turned around quickly and back looking sharp with the tan leather and navy laces. 🔥

A small repair can make a big difference. ⚾🧵

Repeat customer Connor from Gettysburg College brought his catcher’s mitt back to us with one broken web lace and another that was worn enough that it was time to go.

We replaced both before they could become a bigger problem — and got the mitt ready to head back to the field.

If you notice a lace starting to fray, stretch or break, don’t wait for the rest of the web to let go.
