“Don’t Cut The Grass” was a sgraffito wall piece I had in mind for the show all summer! It’s inspired by my love for the little flowers that pop up in our yard that feed all the bees and other pollinators. It’s my small contribution to the pollinators until I get better at gardening and plant some perennials 💕 sometimes we cut the grass like a patchy beard so the town knows it is intentional!

What are you doing in my swamp??? 🐸

“Not a Toad House, a Toad Home” was such a freeing piece to make. I took a break from my mural project to just play without a plan and out came this cutie. I wish I had a good picture of the slime trail the slug left along the back 🐌

This piece is on view at ARTS Council SFL & EPP Gallery. See this piece and more in the gallery until October 2nd!

I am so happy this beautiful lamp is going to a good home 🥰 “Roadside Bouquet” was inspired by the beautiful native plants that grow along our roads and give us little glimpses of beauty on our commutes. This one features Chicory and Queen Anne’s Lace. I look forward to making more!

I have been wanting to get into lighting for a long time now, but the non ceramic part always intimidated me! I learned a lot creating this piece and feel much more confident for future lamps thanks to the guidance of the Lamp Repair store in Rochester, my dad and his drill press, and my husband the electrician! Quite the dream team :)

While laying on the hammock with my son and looking up at the trees, I had a vision come in about flipping that around and looking down into a bird bath where you can see the tree canopy in its basin. I love how it came out and feels like the sun is peaking through the trees. Of course it doesn’t have to be used as a bird bath because I think it would be a lovely centerpiece as well! This piece is called “Forest Bathing”.

This piece is on view at ARTS Council SFL & EPP Gallery. Join us this TODAY, September 3rd from 5-7pm for the opening reception of my solo exhibition “In Your Backyard”. If you are interested in purchasing the full mural “In Your Backyard” before the opening reception please reach out to me or to Victoria at [email protected]. Everything will be on view in the gallery starting Monday, August 31st!

A little rabbit has hopped into my yard! I am so so beyond thrilled with how my rabbit came out of the woodfiring! 😍 He is just so perfect. I wish I had time to make more for the firing but this is all I could fit in before I had my baby boy :)

I don’t share much about my private life on my art pages, but we recently welcomed our first little baby boy into the world! The last couple weeks have been so full of love and family 💕 We cannot wait to see how he grows and what he creates and I look forward to doing many little art projects with him 🎨
