"After receiving a BFA in Interior Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in NYC, for 20 +years I worked as an interior architecture design manager creating new store concepts and interiors for architectural firms and luxury retailers, Tiffany & Co. "I immersed myself into the worlds of jewelry and sculpture, areas that I have long been passionate about. As a self-taught jewelry designer, I enjoy the daily challenges of running a business as there is never a dull moment." "My studio was setup in Hawaii, where I was surrounded by the Pacific Ocean, embraced by the mountains. The island is located between East and West. My approach to design is strongly influenced by modern art as well as Eastern philosophy. "
"Each of my pieces in uniquely characterized by the ingenuous integrity of natural objects and processes found around the island. I am often fascinated by marine organisms, their forms, structures, and textures, whether they are along the coast line near the mountains or deep in the ocean. The materials I use are selected for the way they age and develop personality over time. My pieces are rustic yet elegant, vigorous yet serene. They are characterized by the contrast between bold and refined. I hope to bring joy to my customers every day."
