We’re proud to announce Judith Washington as a 2026 Baroness for the SWLA Cattle Baron’s Ball. A retired speech-language pathologist, she’s as strong as she is inspiring 💪❤️
When she needs a little pick-me-up, you’ll find her turning up Something on the Water 🎶, and when the BBQ pit’s fired up, she’s heading straight for that BBQ chicken 🍗🔥 without a second thought!
But what truly makes Judith shine is the story behind her “why.” A 24-year breast cancer survivor and 14-year conqueror of cervical cancer 🎗️, she has faced life’s toughest battles head-on, refusing to let adversity define her. Instead, she’s built lifelong friendships, shared her voice on national stages, and stood as a powerful advocate for awareness and change.
Her journey didn’t stop there—Judith also became a devoted caregiver for her late husband during his courageous battle with multiple myeloma, showing the true meaning of strength, love, and resilience 💕
Through it all, Judith has chosen to thrive, not just survive 🌟. Her story is one of courage, faith, and the unbreakable power of community. As she steps into this Baroness role, she does so as a beacon of hope—proving that even in life’s toughest storms, a true fighter keeps riding forward 🐎💖
