Exquisite!
Delicate yet regal, the Poltimore tiara was made for Lady Poltimore, wife of the second Baron Poltimore, who was Treasurer to Queen Victoria's household. The tiara, designed by Garrard in 1870, remained in the family until it was sold at auction in 1959. The new owner, Princess Margaret, sister to Queen Elizabeth II, wore this diamond tiara on her wedding day and famously posed with it in a bathtub in Kensington Palace in a picture taken by her husband. Where would you wear a tiara if you had one?
