The 10th Annual Moon Festival is back Sept 20–21, 2025 — and it’s the Hudson Valley’s largest celebration of Asian food, culture, and community. Two days of mooncakes, authentic Asian street food, dragon and lion dances, classical Asian performances, lantern displays, and the enchanting music of Chinese instruments, such as erhu & p**a, all light up Port Jervis.
Last year, more than 15,000 people came out — and this year is shaping up to be even bigger. Over 150 vendors, performers, and community groups transform New Century into a cultural wonderland. Shop handmade art, jewelry, and clothing, savor flavors from China, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, and the Philippines, and take home treasures you won’t find anywhere else.
The entertainment is nonstop — from lion dances and drumming to storytelling, folk songs, and stunning classical Chinese dance. Lanterns glow at night, filling the grounds with magic. Kids will love the crafts, inflatable playground, and DIY lantern-making. Families can try on traditional Tang Dynasty clothing at the photo booth and step into the past at the immersive Tang Village. And yes — you can even meet Chang’e, the legendary Moon Goddess.
Hungry? This is street food heaven: noodles, skewers, dumplings, bubble tea, and so much more — every bite is a journey across Asia without leaving the Hudson Valley. General admission is FREE, parking is just $5, and the memories? Priceless.
Want to upgrade your experience? VIP Moon Tickets include premium parking, VIP restrooms, a hand-painted conical hat, limited-edition tote, and a 20% off kids’ playground coupon. This isn’t just an event — it’s a cultural celebration that belongs on your fall bucket list. Grab the crew, follow for updates, and come experience the Moon Festival glow.
