I'll be in Decatur, AL for Vintage Market Days of N. Alabama on November 6-7. I don't do many multi-day events but I'll be bringing the big guns: antique and vintage jewelry, Hermes scarves, sterling silver, and whatever other vintage finds I can bring. Hope to see you there!

The life of a designer with ADD: too many thoughts of what to design next, out of sight out of mind (did I forget I had these pieces, yes), time blindness, piles, and super-focus are what I work through. Night time is when I work best.

Back to the jewelry department as I have upcoming markets that are my designs only (artist markets).

I made one necklace tonight and determined it wouldn't work. I picked up another necklace I put aside about 6 months ago, re-thinking the design and now I love it.

It be like that sometimes. What are you working through?

Research matters. I am always learning and provide my research when I can. When you invest in a piece, you are trusting the seller to provide accurate and honest information.

This antique necklace has Neiger attributes: green glass "faux jade" speckled beads with antique end caps, the barrel bead shape, the ornate stamped back, the fold-over hook clasp that is shaped to go with the curve of the piece, the hidden safety chain that dangles, the bezel pieces. The Neiger brothers produced unsigned pieces in Czechoslovakia in the 1920s-30s. They used components from local artisans to make Egyptian Revival and Chinoiserie motif pieces among others.

Unfortunately the Neiger brothers were captured and killed during the Holocaust. Their work lives on many years later, a testament to their beautiful craft.

Wow! Y'all showed up and showed out at the One Man's Vintage Market yesterday. So grateful for great people and great weather. I love how shocked people are when they come to my booth in both the uniqueness of my finds and the low prices. Jewelry is for everyone to enjoy. Thank you for being amazing.
