I never imagined a time when speaking up for basic human dignity, compassion, and decency would feel controversial.

This isn’t about political parties or differing opinions. It’s about how we treat one another, the humanity we choose to recognize, and the kind of world we’re leaving behind.

We can disagree on policies without losing our compassion for people. We can have different beliefs without abandoning our humanity.

I refuse to become so comfortable with injustice that I stop caring about the suffering of others.

At the end of the day, I would rather be remembered for having the courage to care than for having remained silent when it mattered.

Humanity should never be a partisan issue. 🤍
