It’s Pineapple W**d season!

Pineapple w**d (Matricaria discoidea) is a wild, edible herb closely related to chamomile!! They smell and taste like a mix of tropical pineapple and floral herbs. (Uh yum!)

You can forage the yellow flower heads and young leaves and use them to make hot or cold tea, sweet simple syrups, or summery salads.

4pm to 7pm come do some grocery shopping and grab a taco! 🌮

Fresh garden winecap mushrooms and Freeze-Dried snacks all ready to go. I do also have some morels and chanterelles. Garden Leeks ready for some yummy leek and potato soup (it’s supposed to rain over the next few days, this would be great!)

And as always, some flavored whipped honey. Currently have strawberry, mango, and north idaho local handpicked cranberry!

It’s that time of the year where the chocolate mint is growing quickly and in full force! We use the fresh mint in mojitos, in infusions, and dried leaves to make chocolate mint tea! Making tea from the chocolate mint is a delightful twist on regular peppermint tea.

We had multiple days over 75 degrees into mid 90s over the last few weeks. Hot, sunny, perfect. But we then had a couple day cold snap. That sent these leeks into a bolt. Their offshoots are similar to garlic, except you can’t just cut them and put energy back into the base. If you leave them they get woody. You could leave some smaller ones in and let them go to seed.
