Five weeks and four days till the Foothills Craft Guild Fall Show! I'm working on all the new things! Teasers to come out over the next few weeks! Or you can go see creations made by me and my fellow Guild members during October at the Emporium! Looking forward to SAFELY seeing everyone in November at the Expo Center!

Interested in learning about Metal Clay? I'll be teaching a class at the Oak Ridge Art Center on November 9, 10-4. This beginner-level class will cover the basics of Metal Clay. We will work in fine silver, making a set of earrings or a pendant. Silver and tools will be provided. There will be a break for lunch (so the pieces can be processed in the kiln while we eat). There will also be a chance to purchase limited amounts of tools and clay. This class is a prerequisite to the more advanced classes: mold making, alloy clays, rings, and stone setting in metal clay.

Mark your calendars! Foothills Craft Guild Fall Artisan Show is coming on a NEW DATE and a NEW VENUE! Join me and the Guild's other talented artists on November 1-3 at the Knoxville Expo Center!

The Foothills Artisan Market for 2019 is done! I am home, all the show material (except the tablecloth that got soaked in coffee) is put up, and I've even had some food! Thank you so much to everyone who came to the show this weekend, esp when it was the first nice weekend in two months! The Venue was beautiful, and I hope we do this again next year!
Next a short rest, then Ijams' Mayapple Marketplace on April 7, followed by Ftn City Craft Fair on April 13, ending with the North Hills Garden Club Plant sale on May 4. If you couldn't make it this weekend, maybe you can catch me then!
