Dixie Dreams I am inspired by life. If I wake up it has already started out as a good day. Every day is an adventure. I live on a beautiful island in Alaska.

I hunt, but only with a camera. I am lucky enough to see Kodiak bears, deer, fox, whales, eagles, just to name a few animals, from the road system here. I found that just taking photographs was not enough for the artist lurking in me and started making jewelry from the colors inspired by my photos. My past creeps into my designs as well. I was in the Army and I am not a girly girl so I like metal, wire and 550 cord along with the pretty beads. Like all artist our lives shape what we make and I am constantly changing and growing.
