Taking it back to the piece that started it all…

My Crown of Grace Bracelet with high luster baroque pearls. This bracelet is hand braided with soft leather in the image of Christ’s crown of thorns. It’s adorned with a crown charm & a cross fashioned out of nails to remind us of the ultimate sacrifice that Jesus paid for our sins. The bronze medals are made from carved originals and hand cast in my studio. It is completed with three pearls that represent the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. OUR LADY OF MOUNT CARMEL STATEMENT NECKLACE

A striking piece of wearable devotional art, this Our Lady of Mount Carmel statement necklace was created from a substantial antique Catholic medal depicting the Blessed Mother with the Christ Child.

The antique original has a wonderful story of its own. At some point in its long history, the medal had been cut approximately one-quarter of the way through—most likely in an attempt to determine whether the metal was valuable. Before creating my mold, I carefully reconstructed the damaged area by hand with clay, preserving the beautiful original imagery while giving this treasured old medal new life.

The result is a substantial bronze replica with the presence and character of an antique—and a story that has survived with it.

THE DESIGN

The medal hangs from an elegant Art Nouveau-inspired link bale, attached with two etched rings that add another layer of Old World detail.

I paired it with a substantial matte-gold chain featuring alternating large links with beautiful twisted, ridged and textured details. The scale of the chain balances the larger medal beautifully and gives the entire necklace the appearance of an heirloom piece of fine jewelry.

The necklace is finished with a sturdy decorative lobster clasp.

This is not a delicate little religious medal. It was intentionally designed as a Catholic statement necklace—bold, sculptural and unmistakably devotional.

This gorgeous, two toned, BOLD ring design depicts the Chalice & Host with a hand set grade 5A 3mm CZ.

It is a statement piece, large, & luxurious beautifully depicting the Eucharistic. The hand set image is replicated in my studio from a century old French religious medal and lovingly recreated in bronze clay. This glorious Catholic antique replica is set in a rustic asymmetrical ring base and makes the perfect gift. This design has been a favorite of my customers and I have decided to offer it online for others to enjoy. It is a large ring design, and truly makes a beautiful statement of faith.

Please see all of the pics with the ring on my hand to get an idea of its size. It’s also adjustable. Request your size when ordering and I will form it on a mandrel.

The ring base is antique silver-plated brass, nickel free & lead free. The hand-set kiln fired design is solid (not plated) bronze in a beautiful light gold color. I brush and finish each piece by hand and my technique has a matte finish in the groves with high shine on the raised areas.

It holds up beautifully as I have customers who have worn my ring designs for years. I am so excited for you to enjoy this ring!
